With the widespread of smartphones and tablets, portability has become the latest trend, especially when it comes to music. When transferring music to a phone, you have to work with cables, memory cards or adapters, which can be annoying sometimes. A better solution is to use Liztic. It looks and feels like a lightweight media player, but it provides the synchronization capabilities of popular services, like Dropbox or Google Drive, but for music. In other words, the application gives you the possibility of sharing the same media library among PCs, Macs, iPhones or Android phones.

The application can be installed in a matter of seconds, on Windows PCs and Mac OS X platforms, as well as iOS and Android-powered mobile devices. Besides installing the application, you also need to create an online account. You can opt for a free account or a paid one, which comes with more benefits.

You can import your audio files selectively or load entire folders. Loaded audio files are displayed in a list, along with various details and you can filter them by artist, album and genre. Like other synchronization services, Liztic can be linked to multiple computers or devices, through your online account. Linked machines are listed on the left side of the user interface, along with online or offline indicators.

Imported files are synchronized automatically between all devices. The music you import into Liztic on one computer will automatically appear on all other computers, on the same user interface. Songs from another device or computer are faded and they are displayed with cloud icons, to make them easier to spot. You can also filter your music to show nothing but local or streamed files.

Obviously, a remote computer must be turned on to stream music from that machine. Fortunately, Liztic allows you to copy streamed audio files to the current machine, which eliminates the need to leave your computers running all the time.

Pros

You can stream music from your computer to other devices. It is also possible to copy streamed music to the current machine. The application provides a user friendly interface, with clear and easy to understand options.

Cons

Free accounts are limited to a certain number of songs and a certain number of connected devices and computers. Liztic can make your music library available on your phone and other devices, so you can play it without transferring anything.
